The Watcher
glass, acrylic, inkjet on vinyl
42" x 42" x 3"
2016
The moon has always been very mysterious for me and it was the main inspiration to this piece. It doesn't rotate, which means it is constantly facing us with the same side, unlike all the other moons known to man. Life as we know it would not exist if it wasn't for the moon. We have not visited the moon since the Apollo missions. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but it kind of seems a little weird no? Anyways, despite that, it is a aesthetic piece, one of one, made by yours truly.
